We are domesticated animals
But that doesn't make us understandable
Our clever ambitions are so laughable
Welcome to the rat race
There's so much for you to do
So much for you to do for us
Do you remember that maze?
We'll have to build another
Before you start to wonder
If you find your way out of here, it meant
There's no controlling the experiment
So stay in line, collect your prize
And try not to eat each other alive
We are running around in circles
You say it's all universal
Just like you see in the commercials
Welcome to the rat race
There's so much for you to do
So much for you to do for us
Do you remember that maze?
We'll have to build another
Before you start to wonder
If you find your way out of here, it meant
There's no controlling the experiment
So stay in line, collect your prize
And try not to eat each other alive
We are better than this
Existing in our own filth and piss
While the caretakers have all been remiss
Welcome to the rat race
There's so much for you to do
So much for you to do for us
Do you remember that maze?
We'll have to build another
Before you start to wonder
If you find your way out of here, it meant
There's no controlling the experiment
So stay in line, collect your prize
And try not to eat each other alive
We are in someone else's game
Such that every day seems the same
Those who own you don't even know your name
Welcome to the rat race
There's so much for you to do
So much for you to do for us
Do you remember that maze?
We'll have to build another
Before you start to wonder
If you find your way out of here, it meant
There's no controlling the experiment
So stay in line, collect your prize
And try not to eat each other alive
